Biography & Mission

Anastasia Andreani

Founder, President & Director of Education

Her path from professional artistry and esthetics to a physician-led medical spa shaped a clear purpose: make practical facial education easier to access, easier to understand, and more meaningful for students to use.

Where Her Story Began

A Career Built Through Artistry, Business, and Esthetics

Anastasia began her professional career in Chicago as a freelance makeup artist. Working directly with clients taught her that beauty services are personal: people remember not only the final result, but also how clearly a professional communicates, how carefully they listen, and how confident they make a client feel.

She strengthened that creative background with formal business education, earning an Associate in Applied Science in Business Administration from Northeastern Business College in 2000. As her interest in skincare grew, she completed a 750-hour esthetics program at Pivot Point International Academy in 2007.

This combination of artistry, business administration, and esthetics gave Anastasia a broader view of the beauty industry. She understood the technical side of services, the importance of client relationships, and the operational work required to build a dependable professional practice.

Her Approach to Teaching

Showing Students How Professional Facial Care Comes Together

Anastasia’s teaching style connects clear explanation with practical demonstration. She wants students to understand not only the order of a facial treatment, but also the reasoning behind preparation, product use, client comfort, hygiene, and professional communication.

By demonstrating techniques in a realistic treatment setting, she helps online learners see how individual steps become a complete and thoughtful client experience.

Learning Where Client Care and Safety Meet

Before moving fully into education leadership, Anastasia worked at Sofia’s Med Spa and Beauty Oasis alongside Dr. Sophie Simeakis-Borrelli. The experience gave her a close view of how professional skincare services fit within a physician-led environment.

It also reinforced a lesson that would later become central to her teaching: strong technique matters, but responsible practice, communication, preparation, and client safety matter just as much.

What the Med-Spa Environment Taught Her

Anastasia worked with physicians, medical professionals, estheticians, and administrative staff while supporting the daily flow of client care and treatment preparation.

Laser-safety awareness and professional responsibilities
Clinical communication across multidisciplinary teams

Why She Created ASFA

Turning Experience Into a More Accessible Way to Learn

Across makeup artistry, esthetics education, and medical-spa work, Anastasia saw how difficult it could be for students to find training that was both practical and flexible. Traditional schedules did not fit everyone. Some learners were balancing work or family responsibilities, while others lived too far from specialized schools.

She wanted to create an academy where location and schedule would not automatically determine who could continue learning. ASFA Facial Academy grew from that idea: organized facial education that students could access online, review at their own pace, and connect to real professional expectations.

Her goal was never simply to place lessons on a screen. She wanted students to understand why each step matters, how to approach clients responsibly, and how practice can build genuine confidence over time.

Values & Advocacy

A More Thoughtful Approach to Beauty

Anastasia has connected her product and education work with vegan choices, waste reduction, sustainable design, and mental-health awareness. These priorities reflect her belief that beauty education should consider personal well-being and long-term impact—not only technical results.

Product Development in Practice

Connecting Facial Education with the Products Students Use

Anastasia’s interest in product development grew from the same practical questions that guide her teaching: Is the texture easy to work with? Does the application make sense for the treatment step? Can a student understand how and why the product is being used?

That hands-on perspective influenced the development of ASFA learning tools and facial kits designed to help online students follow demonstrations, practice techniques, and become more comfortable working with professional skincare products.

Mission Statement

Education That Builds Knowledge, Responsibility, and Confidence

Anastasia’s mission is to make professional beauty and aesthetics education more accessible without losing the care, structure, and responsibility students deserve. She believes education should do more than deliver information or issue a certificate. It should help students understand what they are learning, practice with purpose, recognize professional responsibilities, and feel prepared to continue growing.

Make Education Accessible Create flexible learning opportunities for students with different schedules, locations, backgrounds, and financial circumstances.
Teach Responsible Practice Keep client care, infection prevention, safety awareness, and professional standards connected to technical learning.
Support Real Student Progress Give learners clear instruction, practical tools, helpful guidance, and the confidence to keep developing their abilities.
